Project Overview:

The Pulse of Gaza is a short animated film developed as part of Hum’Animation 2025. Created during an ongoing genocide, the project responds to a moment of urgency, using animation and sound to reflect the psychological weight of living under continuous violence. Rather than recounting events, the film focuses on emotional presence—capturing fear, memory, and endurance through testimony, sound, and visual rhythm.

The project was made with the support of Hum’Animation 2025, Gobelins Paris, Protect Humanitarians, and CoCreate Humanity, whose contributions helped bring forward voices that must be heard.

Objectives:

  1. To highlight the ongoing psychological impact of war and displacement, particularly PTSD experienced while violence is still unfolding.
  2. To use animation as a tool for testimony, creating space for personal voices and lived experience.
  3. To raise awareness and empathy by translating emotional realities into a visual and auditory form accessible to a wider audience.
  4. To contribute to humanitarian storytelling that centers dignity, presence, and human resilience rather than spectacle.
